The Psalmistry
Thy Word, Lord,
Thy Word reigns in the heavens.
Thy Word, Lord,
is forever!
Faithful God,
true to all generations.
True Thy Word.
True unto the day.
1. But that Your law,
but that Your law was my delight,
I would have died,
lost in my sin, lost to the night.
2. I'll not forget,
I'll not forget Thy Law, Thy Word.
Through them I'm saved:
through them my life has been preserved.
3. Save me, my Lord!
Save me, my life I give to You.
Evil attacks.
Yet, to Thy Word I will be true.
Bridge
Mere perfection has a limit;
but Your Laws, O Lord, are without bounds!
