1. O Lord, my God, such a refuge You are!
Deliver me from my foe.
It rips and tears like the mighty lion:
I've no place else to go.
O, Lord, My God, if there's guilt upon my hands,
how just my agony!
If I've done some evil, justly is my life then
trampled by my enemy.
2. But righteous God, search my heart and my soul,
judge my integrity.
And if You find any merit in there,
then smite my enemy!
Arise, O God, against my enemy,
and let your arrows fly!
For You area righteous God who saves the pure:
All glory to our God most High!
