For My God Will Be With Me (Psalm 116)

1. Cords of death entangled me;
waves of trouble and strife.
Then I called upon my Lord:
"Lord, pre-serve my life!"

For my God will be with me when I call on His name.

2. Great and righteous is the Lord.
Ever there in need.
Be at rest once more my soul:
